Locking nuts and stolen water butts...

Posted by Jonathan Pearce on Sunday, May 15, 2011, In : Community Garden
Today was another good day at the community garden. However, the council, or someone, had replaced the normal nut on the metal fence with a locking nut which was particularly un-community spirited... This did not deter the Gardening Do-Gooders who found an alternative entrance. We continued painting and gardening and even found some slow worms. Ellie and her mother Fiona produced some lovely artwork that can been s...

Possible interview in think Local for us!

Posted by Jonathan Pearce on Thursday, March 31, 2011, In : Community Garden
The lastest pictures showing the progress in the Community Garden have gone up and with them, a posibility that we might get interviewd by Think Local. Ellie Garwood, who was once a member with us before moving to Chichester to get heavily involved with the Transition movement there, has contacted us suggesting that she can interrview us for the Think Local magazine.

Hopefully, this will provide a great opportunity to get our organisation out there in the public eye.
